Member since 1999 Skill Cards• A1, A2, General Audio, General AV, Advance AV, Assistant Electrics, Projection, Videowall, Ground Rigging, Spotlight Working here in Las Vegas Convention and Entertainment Industry for nearly 25 yrs, and though my preference is Audio, my skill set is fairly broad. As a Member of the IATSE Local 720 "Stagehand Union", I have worked in various positions and capacities. I can best be described as a “well rounded” Stagehand. I have had the privilege to work on A-List Rock n Roll Stages, Performing Arts Theatre's, High powered Corporate Events, Conventions and Meetings, as well as some Commercial Television Broadcasts. Corporate meetings and expositions for some of the most well known “whose who” of Fortune 500 companies, in most of the largest conventions and exposition shows and venues anywhere, year round. I have worked in various positions at nearly every convention/meeting venue located on the strip and elsewhere in Las Vegas. I have also worked in different capacities on several Union contracted Casino Showroom/Stage shows and lounges on the Las Vegas Strip. Customer Service oriented Bellman for one of the most popular hotels on South Beach, in the 1990’s. A small 12 room/ 2 Suite Art Deco Classic located at “12th and Collins”, directly behind the school I had been attending for my Associates degree. It was owned by Chris Blackwell, of Island Records, and was his first Hotel on South Beach in the Island Trading Co. roster. Re-imagined by famed British art and fashion designer, Barbara Hulanicki, It was also the home of “The Shabeen” Jamaican Restaurant, South Beach Studios, and Elite Modeling Agency.. Guests such as Russel Simmons, Gianni Versace, Mickey Rourke, Trent Rezner, Grace Jones, and many more, were regular fair at the Marlin during the early-mid 1990’s SoBe resurgence.
