I moved in with my brother in San Francisco and joined Korts & Knight Kitchens, initially as a cabinet installer apprentice and advanced to do self-sufficient work and then lead projects. In the Bay area, we mostly worked on high-end, $100K and up projects where perfection in implementation and flawless customer interactions were required in demanding settings. When my brother got married, I left San Francisco to attend an accelerated welding program in Georgia.

I started as a welding apprentice and advanced to a team lead for a specialty fabrication company that did a variety of mostly on-customer-site work, especially restaurant renovations. Towards the end of my time there, I was leading most of the out-of-town projects across the country.Tig welding stainless, steel 20 gauge and thinker, aluminum 1/8 ", galvanized steel 18 gauge and thinker • Mig welding steel 16 gauge and thinker, galvanized steel 16 gauge • Run press brakes with a verity of metals; steel, stainless, aluminum, copper, and galvanized steel and thickness • Have great experience with tools commonly found in a fabrication shop;, drill presses, plasma torches, angle grinders, hand tools, • Interact with costumers on a daily basis, including planning, executing and post job reviews • Measure upcoming jobs to help prepare quotes and proposals • I was part of a project to take a stripped down Cintas box truck and turn it into a full mobile kitchen on wheels. We first started by designing a custom mobile kitchen with a pizza oven, 2 fryers, custom made hood, a 4 burner stove top, and a flat top. We singlehandedly designed the truck to include freezers and custom made prep tables. We then progressed to building a full mobile catering/food truck fully custom designed and built by our team.
