I had the privilege to work together with Charu in Philips/ Legero, in India, while Senior Product Designer and R&D team manager for lighting design/ consumer electronics. We worked together in order supply hospitality luminaries, to develop newer products and to adapt new technologies to the lighting design to be used in several markets, from India to Europe. Our products were a (or several) step(s) ahead from all that was found and supplied at the time, with enthusiastic replies from clients and even competition. Charu is great professional, creative, highly responsible and a team player, such was very clear every time we supported the younger designers and engineers in the team and in the building, every time a new product was being prototyped, developed and presented to the administration board. The team developed, from young designers and engineers to senior professionals where Charu was a leader, was one of the best teams I had the pleasure and fun to work with.
