SIAtech is a charter school that is partnered with Job Corps. which allows students ages 16-24 to attain a Tier I High School Diploma in addition to receiving training in a variety of trades. My role is as the Creative Technologies Instructor. In these classes I guide students through projects using Adobe Technologies including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash. In addition to learning Adobe programs students become more familiar with concepts or art, design, and photography while increasing their ability to utilize expanding ranges of technology.

As a para-educator I provide academic support to students, in addition to assisting supervising teacher with day to day classroom functions. These responsibilities include gathering necessary documents/information for pending IEP's, filling IEP's in students' confidential files, grading assignments, maintaining grade book, providing before and after school tutoring, identifying students who need additional help and providing one on one or small group instruction within the classroom, and assisting in maintaining appropriate classroom behavior. I am currently placed in a 10-12th grade resource level mathematics class with curriculum in algebra, geometry, and beginning topics of algebra II.

As an event manager I oversee overall event operations with all event staff reporting to me. Event sizes can range from 5-300 people with staff sizes ranging from 3-12 employees under my supervision. I ensure that food service, deco, and other included services meet or exceed clients standards. In addition I ensure that call company policies are adhered from set up to clean up of event.
