Charmian is creative, entrepreneurial and tenacious. As my promotions director on GH, She and other lifestyle brands at Natmags, she created strong, effective relationships with brands and their agencies, building business and developing revenues. Her ability to get to the heart of a brief set her apart from her competitors. What's more, she's a complete delight to work with: her joyful, vivacious personality picks the team mood up off the floor during times of stress and pressure, and she makes the trickiest of tasks seem achievable. It's been a while since I had the pleasure of working with Charmian, but I'd do so again like a shot.

Charmian was the Account Director on the Harvey Nichols account when I was editing its fashion magazine and communications. Throughout our time together she was professional and organised. She did the boring bits that no one wants to do as well as having creative input. She always made the financials and strategies look easy when often they weren't and she did everything with a happy heart. Most importantly though, Charmian made me laugh my head off most of the time. She is a complete joy to work with.
