  Urban designer assistant at Khatib and Alami (private architectural and engineering consulting company) in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) My main role was to provide masterplanning options and streetscapes design and to include national and regional policy in urban design projects. I worked in cooperation with local councils to meet their development expectations. - Al Zahia – Gated community project in Sharjah - $1.5 billion - 2,270 villas and apartments - 1.5m sqm I was in charge of drawing the roads and infrastructure plan (AutoCad) of the project and to provide masterplanning options (AutoCad). - Al Sedrah – Holistic healing and marine life club resort project near Muscat (Oman) I created the promotion of the project by providing benchmarking details (InDesign) and by creating different brochures for public and private presentation. - Al Nasma – Urban regeneration project in Sharjah with public facilities development - $350m - 800 houses I was involved in the public facilities insertion (AutoCad) in cooperation with the local council. - Dubai Happiness Agenda– Regional scale strategy to create ‘‘happy projects’’ in Dubai (UAE) I had to find creative ways to measure the happiness level of projects around the Emirate.   Think about the city seaside future in case of climate change (sea level rises). Our reflection was focused on the city centre which could be totally under the water in 50-100 years. We used several methods to achieve our goal : - A model with GIS software to imagine the hazard. - Maps of the possible rising water. - Maps of the possible damages caused by the hazard. - We met actors specialized in this thematic and we worked together to make the best project possible. - We developed solutions to make the seaside more sustainable. - Photomontages, masterplans and drawings to express our ideas.
