In addition to my responsibilities in my previous role, I now manage value engineering for Vax which has meant: working closely with our design and engineering teams as well as with our suppliers, negotiating prices, generating cost saving ideas, managing time scales, forecasting and reporting progress to the key stakeholders in the rest of the business. I look after product approvals for not just our UK business but also our business in the Middle East and Africa. I look after health and safety with regards to our products, including completing product inspections and reporting on call center data. I now own the Argos account from a quality perspective. I also look after our robotic vacuum cleaner products from a quality and testing perspective, this has involved writing test plans and working and building a relationship with a new supplier.
