  After completing my placement with EPUT I was asked to stay on as a bank HCA, where I spent June-September 2022 assisting with the organisation of psychology referrals and managing a set of outcome measures. I was given the opportunity to learn about the WAIS, observe it being carried out, and assist with marking. In December 2022 I was invited to come back part time whilst completing my degree and I currently assist with administrative tasks in the psychology department. So far this has included scoring outcome measures and co-leading a large data transfer project in line with new NHS data protection guidance, among other tasks. Show less

  I completed a placement year with EPUT in a community psychology team. My main responsibilities included attending and minuting clinical meetings, assisting with psychology referrals, co-facilitating an anxiety management group, managing the data collection from an outcome measure, helping with the facilitation of a DBT group and of the ‘moving on after trauma’ group, and scheduling appointments for clinicians.
