      Every day seven young people aged 13-24 in the UK hear the devastating news that they have cancer. In fact, more young people die as a result of cancer than any other illness.Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to giving these 13-24 year olds expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word “cancer”.       As an Ambassador for Teenage Cancer Trust I supported their work by speaking to young people who have been diagnosed with a form of Cancer at a young age. My role has included speaking in Schools, Hospitals and to the media. I have helped in organising a Barclays Charity Bike ride and one their biggest Music festival. Both of which were a huge success and the money has gone towards the new Teenage Cancer Ward at Southampton General Hospital. This role was Full time on a voluntary basis. Now I am working full time, I continue as an Ambassador for TCT around working.
