Working within a team as on-site Shipping agents at Woods Air Movement UK. High level of involvement with project shipments and complex order requirements within the logistics remit. Use of multiple in-house software applications to a high skill level. Involvement in regular commercial meetings in both operational and advisory capacities. Responsibilities: - Managing day to day export shipments including project management - Use of in-house software including Exportease and Microsoft AX Dynamics to a high degree, to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently - Representing the company at high level projects and manufacturing meetings - Involvement in software development ideas to further benefit the company - Working towards the set KPI’s for the department to ensure maximum compliance - Preparation of dispatch and export documentation (including Certificates of Origin, EUR1 documents and Bank Presentations) - Dealing with a high volume of import shipments from key suppliers of the factory - Timely and accurate daily sales invoice processing - Generating Stowage plans for Road freight and Sea freight shipments and Liaising with various Freight forwarders on shipment bookings - Preparation and verification of export and import HMRC entries in the CHIEF system - Adhering to SOLAS regulations, making sure all container details are entered in the correct sites (Destin8 and CNS) - Day to day administration tasks and general housekeeping within the office - Managing a high level of emails and phone calls daily, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and accurately.
