I worked as a Project Manager within the ICT team at MBIE. I worked on multiple projects at a time, ranging from Infrastructure to more Business based projects.I worked as one of the Project Managers on the End User Computing Programme, specifically delivering the Windows 10/ Office 2016 build for MBIE. Another project I worked on was the Outlook Web Access (OWA) Enhancement project. This project removed attachments from the OWA service in response to a risk raised by security as well as moving the service off old Microsoft 2003 Servers. This project required extensive communications planning and stakeholder management to ensure users understand why the change is occurring and allow them to plan accordingly.

I was contracted to the newly formed Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment. I worked on the NG GETS Project (New Generation Government Electronic Tender System). My primary tasks were recording meeting minutes, organise meetings and general project administration.I was also contracted onto a project at Immigration which the primary purpose is to update it's hardware and peripheries. This required skills such as vendor sourcing and engagement, project management and information management.

I worked in the web team managing specific projects that relate to the websites that MBIE provide services for.I deployed and managed content for MBIE's Content Management Systems, specifically, Plone, Silverstripe and Sharepoint.I designed and built surveys using the Survey Monkey tool, an example of this was a Survey for the new MBIE intranet, the purpose of which was to understand users expectations and needs for the new intranet.
