  During the first 9 months I undertaken my PGCE in geography secondary education. I worked across two different school delivering geography lessons to both KS3 and KS4, with experience in 2 exam boards. I was responsible for the planning and delivery of lessons, tracking and monitoring data, marking and worked alongside my mentor to take responsibility for a tutor group and deliver PHSE lessons to a vertical tutor group. Once I achieved QTS I taken on the role of Geography teacher at Telford Park School. I delivered Geography lessons according to the curriculum to year 7 through to year 11 with responsibility for planning the curriculum, delivering lessons and assessing learners. I was responsible for teaching all GCSE classes and due to covid ensure learners complete assessments for their GCSEs. I marked assessments to form their teacher assessed grades and moderated them with my line manager to ensure grades are given accurately and fairly. I used formative and summative assessments to accurately provide data on individuals, to ensure next steps for progression. I communicate with parents and other stakeholders within the school. I undertake wider school responsibilities, including, observations, working collaboratively with other teachers for improvement and break duties.
