  I walked door to door to organize and fund raise for environmental causes such as nitrogen and pesticide pollution prevention. I got people to write letters to legislatures and their local representatives for environmental causes. Counted the donation amount I educated neighbors all over Long Island about the overflow of brown tide in the shores (especially the south shore) and help prevent further nitrogen contamination in our drinking water by having supporting neighbors write letters to the Governor Andrew Cuomo and local representatives to decrease the amount of nitrogen flow in sewage treatment plants. I was also Involved with the campaign that banned hydrofracking from New York State. Show less
