I spent two very enjoyable months working at Hasselhusset with 3-6 year old children. In this short time I learned a lot about working in a Danish børnehave and with that particular age group. D&T Teacher & Assistant House Mistress
-
Aug 2005 - Jul 2007
Teaching resistant materials to pupils from ages 13 – 18. Covering woodwork, metal work, plastics, CAD/CAM and silversmith jewellery projects. As an assistant house mistress in a large girl’s boarding house I had a 24hr duty weekly, during which time I was responsible for the house and the girls’ welfare, and one weekend a term duty. I jointly ran sailing on 3 afternoons a week during the Autumn and Summer term and helped take the girls cross country team. I was involved in both house and school productions including organisation and set design/building. I very much enjoyed being involved in many extra-curricular activities with the pupils. Show less
