Used MySQL to create relational databases that would store information into tables for my personal movie collection website. Designed my website using ReactJS and utilized React carousel for my home page. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪 𝘊𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘦𝘴 Nov. 6, 2019 to Nov. 30, 2019 Goal: Developed a website through Javascript that checks if a user’s password could pass all the credentials set. Used regular expressions with conditionals to set credentials for passwords, this makes sure that the user creates more unique passwords to protect their information. Leveraged an addEventListener to the function, so when someone clicks the submit button, the program validates the user's password.   Conducted research on " Accelerating Distance Image Calculation on GPUs" under Dr. Byunghyun Jang (HEROES Lab at the University of Mississippi). Gathered data that would show how fast executing the time (in microseconds) of distance image-based hand detection would be on a GPU vs. CPU. Determined that GPU execution time for distance image is roughly 14 times faster than CPU.
