I had the pleasure and honour of working with Charlie for over more than three amazing years at Brazen MENA. Not only did he demonstrate his impeccable media and influencer relations, creativity and client management skills - he also was an inspiring mentor to all the juniors, which was a delight to observe. I couldn’t recommend him enough - I firmly believe that Charlie is a PR unicorn.

During the three years I worked with Charlie on PR campaigns across all lines of businesses for The Walt Disney Company Middle East, he was considered by myself and the local team as more of an internal team member than an external supplier. As such, I could only fathom leaving my role in Charlie’s safe hands when I took maternity leave in 2018. As soon as we began working together, Charlie swiftly ensured he learned the intricacies of the Disney brand guidelines, internal protocols and regional and global team structures – and went far above and beyond what was expected from him; crafting strong relationships with Disney team members across the world as a result. After 12 years of working for or with PR agencies, I’ve rarely encountered such a innately talented PR professional. Charlie is a rare gem, and is an invaluable asset to whichever agency or in-house comm's team he joins.

As the main lead on Brazen's most high-profile account, The Walt Disney Company MENA, responsibilities included managing campaigns for studio releases alongside support for the EMEA junkets and press days, strategic influencer campaigns for channels and retail for the MENA region. With the hand’s on role there was accountability for the client’s third-party budget for projects, ensuring efficient spend with ROI. Due to a successful working relationship with the internal team during a maternity leave cover, a semi-secondment role was undertaken from April 2019 to January 2020 to support the Head of Marketing during an internal transitional period.
