It's very rare that one person can take a position at a fast-growing, established company and immediately shift the company culture in a dramatic, positive, and desperately needed way. Yet that is exactly what Charlie did at DC Group. The company was both enjoying and suffering growing pains due to unbelievable growth. Without Charlie's positive attitude, dedicated and compassionate leadership, and intuitive problem-solving skills, I have no doubt that the company would have deteriorated. What changed with Charlie's arrival? The C-level staff became approachable. The CEO, for the first time in years, felt comfortable enough to go on vacation, knowing he could leave the reigns in Charlie's capable hands. And record profitability and growth was only surpassed by each subsequent year. If you're ever lucky enough to have an opportunity to get Charlie on your team, do it.
