Bio
Stan Barnes, PMP®, CSM®, LEED AP®, Ret.
While with VOA and Associates, Charlie was the front line field architect for the owner on a mega-million dollar luxury hotel, with restaurants, convention center, spa facility, casino remodel project. I was the owner's project manager / owner's representative. Charlie's dedication to the project's successful completion was nothing short of extraordinary. At completion of the project Charlie was given the title of "Most Valuable Player" for his great work. This title was not given lightly. On a project where it was absolutely critical for the architects to be at the top of their game, Charlie came through like no other on the job. He was unshakable. One of Charlie's greatest attributes is his willingness to continue learning. Another is his ever present optimism and confidence that all problems can be solved, with enough effort. His out of the box thinking and creativity was exactly what we needed to help us get across the finish line. I would recommend Charlie as an architect on virtually any type of project. Respectfully submitted, Stan Barnes - LEED AP stanbarnes@dc.rr.com
