As the Events Manager, my role entails liaising directly with external companies to facilitate onsite events from residential conferencing, workshops, product launches as well as formal dinners in excess of 100 events each year. Event management, including function room set-up (manual labour) and event orders distribution, time scheduling and general assistance. – both internally and externally Proposing on new sales leads and follow up. Administrating marketing campaigns and tracking sales results. Managing use of programs such as RoomKey, Gmail – Google Suite, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, ImPos. Salesforce CRM, Mews (Cloud-based PMS), Lightspeed Account management, building profiles, managing account and billing processes. Managing internal relations regarding functions. Guest services relations, from internal bookings to external client bookings (taxi, transfer, external activities) Corporate Account management for hotel guests. Manage CRM details within Salesforce, for both internal correspondence as well as offsite BDM’s for lead generation, follow-up and contracts. Show less
