I worked with Charlie at GearGrid Corporation from early 2009 through 2011. Charlie managed the design, development and prototype department during that time. While I was the sales person who managed the new products division at GearGrid, I relied heavily on Charlie. With many of the new projects, Charlie would draw the concept, and work with myself and the customer to develop and get approval from the customer. Charlie was proficient in Solidworks, as well as other cad programs. Solidworks was the cad program used by GearGrid. Charlie was able to take an idea from a customer and quickly bring it to life using his design and drafting expertise. This was extremely helpful in bringing in new customers, and also reducing the development and prototype time required with a new project. Beyond Charlie’s Solidwork and cad experience, I relied on Charlie to manage the project from the initial concept through production launch. Charlie would typically design the product, manage the development, design any fixtures needed for the project, and communicate with all team members along the way. I would strongly recommend Charles Hogan for any position that even remotely relates to anything I have listed above.
