Our model involves close corporate engagement with partners that have included Shell, Total, EDF, BASF, Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Hyundai, Teck Resources, South32. We help simplify their engagement to the startup world and we benefit from their insights into the "problems that matter" within often hidden industrial processes. In recent years, Chrysalix has become very active in the UK and Europe, as well as North America. Typically, we initially invest at an early stage but follow on and provide active strategic assistance to portfolio companies throughout their life cycle. From 2008 - 2016, I was based in Vancouver / West Coast North America. Since then, I have been back in the UK.
