Senior Creative Producer & Recruitment Lead
-
May 2016 - Present
Internally I have produced (and often shot, edited, and done all design work on) well over 100 hours of content, including music videos, multiple podcasts (The Colaborator Podcast & Placing Faces which I also host), a quarter-million-dollar series in which we sourced stories, directors, actors, and the rest of the filmmaking team through our social media platform, and dozens of other projects in media. Clients include The Washington Post, Figs, DOMO, Revlon, Digitas Health, Human Rights Foundation, Velem/Milk, Turner, Sephora, Live Nation, The Daily Dot, Cheddar, Refinery 29, & Moving Image & Content, Tory BurchFor our decentralized agency aspect I work with clients to understand their needs, line produce projects and consult on cost, execution, and delivery parameters on projects internationally. I manage client expectations then take their parameters and write copy for listings, posting jobs, building and managing a recruitment pipeline for each. I then work with my team to source appropriate candidates, writing and executing email recruiting campaigns, reviewing job submissions and applicants, calling and screening potential candidates, and finally curating a final group of prospects and submitting them to clients. Nov 2009 - Aug 2012
I started as a photography assistant and worked my way to running the studio and producing shoots quickly. Eventually acting as first assistant, a lead photographer, and a retoucher. I learned a lot of what I know about lighting, capturing the human form, great artists and photographers, cameras, and lenses here. We shot everything from headshots to editorial, art projects and commercial work. I was also instrumental in bringing video and motion to the still photography studio. Shooting, directing, and editing over a dozen fashion films, behind-the-scenes mini-docs, and experimental films highlighting the crazy misadventures of a cadre of crazy fashion photogs and the models that graced our studio.
