Secondment to the Service's Training School Training helping to train all members of Control room staff in the use of a new Computer Aided Dispatch System which will be followed by assisting as an expert user in the control room when we go live with the new system.-Required to have an in depth understanding of how the system works and how to use it within the bounds of LAS's policies and procedures for all users including call takers, dispatchers, scheduling and resources and senior management.-Working as part of a larger and small team in designing and delivering training on the system to a range of users to ensure staff are competent and confident in using the system to ensure patient safety and response times are maintained.-Using my own initiative to ensure the specific sessions I am responsible for delivering in any training course are well prepared with all resources and materials needed for students or to deliver the session ready well in advance.-Being ready and willing to offer support to other members of the team to ensure administrative and other tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
