To whom it may concern, Charles and I worked on the same team last year, 2021-2022 at the Coatesville Area Intermediate High School. We truly were a team. Mr. Ulrich is the ultimate team player. Working together is a must in education, and we did just that. He was a vital part of the success that we had during our time together. He was one of the first teachers I met at new teacher orientation and made me feel comfortable and at ease! Charles understands education and what is best for students. The students enjoyed his classes as he brought learning to life. His lessons were interactive and engaging. He made it easy for students to enjoy school as he developed relationships with his students and everyone, for that matter. Mr. Ulrich makes the connections that students want and need. That is vital in todays classroom. As you walk into his classroom, you realize right away that this is a place of learning and growing. (And ultimately, that is the goal. If a teacher can develop that relationship, then the teacher has won that battle and the students will grow and learn!) Charles sets high expectations and brings out the best in everyone! He meets the students where they are at and brings out the best in everyone! His presence would enhance any school lucky enough to have him. He was a respected staff member and his leadership transcended throughout the building. His is a passionate teacher. He works extremely hard. He is an excellent communicator. His love of education is evident throughout the building. I didn’t hear one negative comment about Mr. Ulrich. He is generous with his time. He reflects on his teaching and tries to improve for the next opportunity. He is eager for growth and wants to succeed. It is without reserve that I would recommend Mr. Ulrich for a teaching job in any school setting. He is able to work with a diverse population without missing a beat. He is there for his students to remediate and enrich and he won’t settle for anything less. His dedication is above board. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to discuss anything with you in the future. Mr. Theodore Sterious Former Middle School Principal Current 9th grade math teacher at CAIHS
