I have had the extraordinary pleasure of working with Charles on several projects across multiple game studios and am constantly impressed with his unparalleled ability to believe in the importance of his work and the value of his team. As I try to think of the best way to describe his personality and work ethic I find myself lacking the words needed to do him justice. Charles is a natural leader. Not the kind that you find at the top of a hierarchy commanding and controlling, but the type of leader that is down in the trenches on the front line leading his team by example. Charles is the kind of individual who is always learning, growing and sharing. He sees the best in people and knows exactly how to coax it out of his colleagues in the most unassuming way. As someone who is adaptable and quick to assimilate new knowledge and work cultures, I don't think there is any challenge or role that he can't handle.

I worked with Charles while I was Community Moderator at Ludia and it was refreshing to have a QA be so passionate not only about the quality of the game that we worked on together, but also the voice of the user. Whenever I brought feedback to the development team from the users, Charles would take ideas, opinions and issues to heart and work to find ways to keep the customers happy-whether it was a minority of vocal users on our social forums or a majority with technical problems.
