Prior to working on Wall Street I held a number of jobs, worked in a variety of fields, including volunteer humanitarian and disaster relief. The major ones were: Hurricane Katrina—September 2005 In the wake of hurricane Katrina, I went to Louisianan and Mississippi as a volunteer in the disaster relief. I set up food lines, suppliers and a fleet of trucks that went into areas without power to help bring food, supplies and counseling to areas without resources. September—October 2001—Volunteer and disaster relief at Ground Zero in the WTC Cleanup I took time from my job to work full time at Ground Zero as an extension of my work in humanitarian effort. During the clean up after 911 I helped organize hundreds people that came to volunteer their time and skills to the clean-up efforts. We set-up food stations, dressing rooms, a place for the workers to sleep, established supply lines as well as rooms for counseling and medical attention, all within 100 yards of the pile. I organized people to work the bucket-lines removing rubble. I worked with fire captains and police chiefs. Additionally, I was thanked by the Governor of NY for the work we did. After the cleanup, I worked with 3, or 4, different ministers in the NY area and spoke at their services about the work that we did Show less
