Having managed accounts of some global commodity traders in the course of my career i saw opportunities in the sector aside from the added incentives by the Nigerian government to boost non-oil export. The company has in the short period of existence developed expertise in the export of commodities like Dry Split Ginger and Dry Hibiscus Flower to clients in North Africa, South Africa and the Middle East. Some of my duties and achievements since the commencement of operations include: 1. Cultivated relationships with importers of agricultural commodities and consummated export transactions in excess of US$250,000.00 with more on the way. 2. Set up a processing and warehousing facility in Northern Nigeria where most of our commodities are sourced from. 3. Represented the company at the maiden edition of the Intra African Trade Fair (IATF) in December 2018 at Cairo, Egypt. I have drawn up and positioned the company to fully take advantage of increased trade flows across Africa under the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AFCTA). 4. Raised export funding from NEXIM Bank to support the company's growing business. 5. Recruited and Manage key staff to sustain the operations of the business. Show less
