Working with the Head of Digital Infrastructure to provide technical support across both campuses (Coventry City and Henley College) ensuring that staff and students have a high quality and efficient IT experience. Assisting students and staff in the application of new technology within the College so as to develop quality teaching, learning and assessment practices.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork as part of the IT technician team to staff the IT helpdesk and complete the jobs submitted via the JRS system within the agreed service level agreement.Provide technical support and guidance in the setting up and maintenance of the college network, internet or intranet.Maintain the range of IT equipment (desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices) at both campuses ensuing that they are fit for purpose and are working efficiently.Service and maintain the audio visual equipment at both campuses ensuring that teaching staff are able to effectively use IT within the learning spaces.Install, maintain and demonstrate any I.T equipment or software.Maintain records and guidance notes of technical matters, processes, controls, security and network diagrams to assist other members of technical Services.Maintain the inventory of computer hardware, software and other records as directed by the Head of Digital Infrastructure and organize the storage of capital and consumable items of equipment.Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in information technology, including, hardware and software.
