  I have been a school superintendent since 1980: Catoosa County, Ringgold GA; Clarksville-Montgomery Co., Clarksville TN; Dorchester School District, Charleston SC; and Knox Co. Schools, Knoxville TN. Additional I have experience as a school principal and classroom teacher.As a superintendent of schools, I employed numerous architects and contractors to design, renovate, and build schools. My father was a contractor, consequently I spent a great deal of my K-12 years and college years on construction-sites. Those experiences served me well in working with contractors, sub-contractors, and architects.My role as Educational Consultant at Cope Architecture is K-12 marketing. I spend a great deal of time contacting school superintendents, school board members, and school facility directors on behalf of our firm.
