  Head, Department of Software Engineering and Lead Researcher-Software Engineering Research Group. The research focus is on software process improvement and providing software solutions through diverse multidisciplinary research, such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, etc. In March 2019, I was redeployed from the Department of Information Technology to the Department of Software Engineering, FUTO I was the team leader that represented the Federal University of Technology, Owerri at all Nigeria Universities IT research and innovation exhibition. The team came first. University awards won Winner Best Research Product in FUTO, 2018. Winner Best Research Product in SMAT, 2018 Other tasks School Research Representative, FUTO Coordinator, Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Local Value, Canada 2020 Coordinator, AI Analyst Training by IBM 2020 Coordinator, IoT Training by IBM 2020 Research Grants won.   My PhD research investigated software development process improvement within BPO service provider organisations in India, which are in outsourcing relationship with clients in the UK’s financial institution. The study revealed that service providers that integrated IT into their organisation developed the application software required to process client services in-house. The development team embedded reusable software components into agile framework in order to quickly develop quality software, reduce turnaround time in processing of client’s services and deliver services with an acceptable level of quality. One of the major contributions of the study is the development of a BPO-IT framework, which could improve client and provider’s performances. Show less
