  FiLIP is now an open Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for Family Mobility devices (wearables, trackers, etc.). Offered to device ODMs/OEMs & Mobile Operators worldwide. The platform is adapted for devices targetting children, pets, seniors/elderlies, luggage, bicycles/scooters, etc. The PaaS offers multiple features of voice calls, group messaging (voice, texts, etc.), location status and safezones alerts, SOS alerts, tasks, rewards, step-counter, fall detection, etc. And more will come as the market evolves. Those features have been designed with parents & caregivers in mind — giving them the peace of mind they crave while providing their loved ones the freedom they so much deserve. FiLIP keeps families connected in the way they wish to be. By offering a base-SDK and online API documentation, to all interested OEM/ODM and Manufacturer, it eases integration of their tracking device. Allowing them to focus on the device itself and its responsive attributes. Taking-off the bother of data compliance and hosting, as well as developing partnership with indoor/outdoor database providers. FiLIP™ PaaS compiles and offers all requested APIs for any Family Mobility devices to run properly. Working overseas with an internal team based in Atlanta GA USA, but also with manufacturers mostly based in Asia, I’ve been in charge of implementing/debugging/improving features on the back-end side as well as writing specs for the app-side developers and helping QA team to test/debug. Being part of production release as well as other environments. Techno: NodeJS, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, Amazon AWS S3 EC2, API REST, Bamboo.
