Project engineeringThe goal of this internship was to study the development of wave energy parks for a new wave convertor called H24.This includes for each chosen site:-a feasibility study (energy resource assessment, characterization of the seabed, logistics overview, environmental constraints)-an anchoring study In parallel I also worked on the CE marking of the H24 and designed some technical drawings on Inventor 2015. Research & development engineering For this internship I was assigned on a research and development project.I designed a wave converter (point absorber type) capable of producing a decent amount of energy from small waves; which characterizes Malaysian sea conditions. To do so, I have been using SolidWorks and then tested my models on Ansys Aqua.I really enjoyed all this work and it gave me the desire to continue working in this field. This internship leads me to apply for a patent presented on this page. If you would like to know more about it, please contact me.
