I worked with Charles on the same group for almost 1 year and a half at the University of Gothenburg. Charles was a post doc and I was a PhD student. Charles helped me during my PhD in the lab but also to shape my project as he was the only senior in the lab, hence he set up a lot of methods alone before I joined that helped my PhD project. Charles had always new good research ideas and found a way to apply them quicly but also shared them when it was not possible for him to deal with. He is curious, confident, very energetic and espetially a hard worker and has been allways available for the group to help when we had a load of work that regarded not only his project but also others. I would then reccomend Charles in any position that involves mentoring and project management.
