The control gallery leader is responsible for the safe and optimal running of the operations required to convert R22 to PTFE on a lower tier COMAH site. Main responsibilities include:• Optimising pyrolysis reactions, distillation processes and autoclave reactors using data analysis techniques. • Overseeing the safe operation of acid driers, bulk gas storage and gas compression.• Ensuring all operations within PTFE plant production meet company SHE requirements.• Monitoring plant safety systems including gas detection systems and fire systems.• Controlling maintenance activities on a PTFE plant including the preparation and re-instatement of equipment and the issuing of work permits.Additional Responsibilities:• Advise an ETFE production facility with regards to optimisation and production troubleshooting. • Deputise for the shift manager in day to day running and emergency situations when required.• Develop and deliver training packages.• Create and update standard operating procedures.
