  Responsible for day to day operations of a multiple L-PAR CPU data center, which included daily tie out of multi-million dollar accounts receivable billing system. Charged with development and implementation of new procedures and processes on both IBM Mainframe and Xerox Laser Printing Systems to better maintain the operation of these systems. Created Excel Spreadsheet for computer tape management at our off-site hot-site.; Used CA-PCS Scheduler to Monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completion of endpoints/milestones. Identified delays or bottlenecks and resolved or escalated according to provided recovery procedures. Performed level 1 and level 2 support for end users and resolution for all batch abends using provided recovery procedures and contacted programmers if needed for resolution. Tracked incoming and outgoing transmissions ensuring they meet deadlines, escalating to appropriate vendors and Data Center management when necessary. Monitored real time performance of the computing environment utilizing automated solutions, 3rd party monitoring software and in-house proprietary tools. Performed scheduled and unscheduled system shutdown and startup (IPL) utilizing the Hardware Management Console (HMC); performed environmental verifications after IPL was complete.
