A varied role which involves analysis from various data sources including student test scores, behaviour, budget and storage optimisation whilst organising and maintaining practical support for the science department. • Created current student progress spreadsheet which uses excel features including advanced formulas, array formulas, VBA and pivot tables. System also uses SQL in VBA to produce student feedback. • Collated, assessed, manipulated and processed large quantities of data from multiple sources using Excel and VBA whilst ensuring high level of accuracy. • Used pivot tables to create Excel based dashboards or perform ad hoc assessments of data as required. • Created and deployed a network based booking system using VBA and Excel to improve on old paper system. • Creation of software to aid in resource sharing and teacher collaboration using MySQL, PHP, JavaScript and HTML-5. • Development of SQL queries to retrieve information from complex databases. • Assimilated multiple coding languages quickly and independently to assist with analysis and data gathering projects. • Summarised large quantities of health and safety documentation and presented this to other members of staff in multiple ways. • Improved paper ‘requisitions’ system with the JavaScript development of an online version using Google Script and Sheets including real time inventory feedback. • Created an online database for detentions including entry forms, analysis reports and email automation. • Influenced staff as to the importance of data that was not being harnessed. • Motivated and taught staff how to best gather and analyse data from many sources. • Provided appropriate summaries of data for target audiences either through reporting, presentations or posters.
