Lissa Hawksley
Not long after I started working with Charlene, she was quickly promoted to Team Lead. We had had a few team lead’s before her, but none had been able to handle the demands of the position. In contrast to her predecessors, Charlene shone in the role - she was not just a boss, but a leader. Charlene is very skilled in that rare quality - leadership. She knows how to effectively encourage each member of her team, no matter how varied the encouragements may be. She responds quickly to every question or comment with thought, care, and a deep well of knowledge and understanding. She is simultaneously able to balance all of the other necessary requirements of her role, seemingly flawlessly, showing an adept knowledge of a wide variety of skills. Another promotion followed quickly - to supervisor of a larger team. In this role, Charlene continues to show skills of a great leader, and I am sure her star will continue to rise. Every day I work with her, I appreciate more and more that I am able to benefit from her guidance. I can’t wait to see how far she goes.
