Nigel Davis, FCIM CM

I first met Charley through Career Academies UK; I was on the Local Advisory Board team of Warwickshire College and Charley was the regional contact and our interface for the student programme. We met regularly to decide on strategic policy and the development of the process within the college, for the benefit of the CAUK Students. Charley's passion and desire to see continual progress in the face of many challenges was evident throughout. She was calm in the face of adversity, always finding solutions to issues that necessitated overcoming several hurdles, yet she always remained positive and personable. Recently she has moved into a different area with fresh challenges and demands on her time, yet she continues to offer support and guidance, keeping others in the equation; she is a consumate professional and excellent communicator.

I connected to Charley back in June of 2013 and I received a great email message a couple of months later, where she was searching for more supporters of Career Academies UK. Her message was professional, friendly and very inviting. As a result, we spoke and I joined one of the Local Advisory Boards in the Midlands and am currently assisting the team at CAUK with LinkedI training. Charley has a great grasp of how to reach out to business professionals using LinkedIn in order to support CAUK with its mission of bridging the gap between education and the workplace for 16-19 year olds. Well done Charley and keep up the great work!
