EXP: Medical Mngmt/Medical Billing x 30 yrs/Medical Consulting/$$ Recovery x 13. I have helped many, in different specialties across the board rescue THOUSANDS of $$ in unpaid claims for multiple specialties! I am driven to reach out & help others! GREAT NEWS: as complicated as it sounds, IT'S SIMPLE to someone who has 25 years exp. Where else can you find a consultant who has actually done all of this single handedly? Ask yourself, "Are you struggling to make ends meet?" Do you have a life balance or are you spending too much time trying to catch up? **If you answered yes to either, email me!. -How do you know if claims are processed & pd correctly? (There are solutions that are NOT COSTLY & highly effective!) -Do you know how to raise your profit margin? Generate NEW Business? Set up to profit? -Do you have an experienced, educated Practice Mngr? (Do you need temp assistance?) -Are you looking for a Biller, or a Data Entry staff? -Are you hiring "Qualified, skilled billers"? (You are entrusting your $$ to the one responsible for making sure claim are paid! (Email me if you need me to screen/Phone interview candidates.) -Do you really know enough about Medical Billing to make such a critical hiring decision? -Are you checking CURRENT credentials AND calling references? -Do you have someone working FOR YOU, in appealing denied claims/aggressively collecting the $$ on unpaid/inappropriately denied claims? (You already worked for/earned this $. If you are You pd staff = w/o pay, you didn't see the patient for FREE, It cost you to see the pt! -Do you have someone working FOR YOU, in appealing denied claims, & aggressively collecting $- -Do you need input from a 25 yr veteran in Medical Admin? I went in to recover the office of Dr Sills as with so many, misfortune hit HARD. I did end up recovering $10,000.00 out of $11,000.00, I rewrote reports to allow her to pass her 2nd year of Meaningful Use Attestation, sent all claims, did all appeals etc. Within the first year, by recovering $10,000.00 and rewriting the reports to pass the Attestation which paid $8,500.00 for Medicaid, $18,500.00 was the total recovered or saved for her that 1 year. I recovered $35,000.00 in lost revenue my first year as the team prior to my employment was not detail oriented and was not aggressive enough to recover the revenue. I was in charge of initiating the new software system and renting training facilities to accommodate 23 employees to learn the new software; then became the office IT specialist to troubleshoot and help any employees who had difficulty signing on or moving through the software. Arranged employee schedules and tracked vacation time, as well as Physician schedules with patient loads when Docs were out of the office. (Patient schedules had to be blocked when a doctor was out of the office.) Worked with vendors for health insurance, disability insurance as well as hardware and software vendors. I became the liaison for all vendors in both of my departments. Responsible for all monthly reports as well as annual and quarterly reports for business meetings. Entire Medical Billing Administration for 2 different practices Established Internship Program (have hosted 25 plus interns) Attended multiple conferences and seminars on Administration, management and Medical Billing Helped employees become more effective in their positions providing leadership and new skill sets to be more efficient in their individual jobs. Figured out how to use new software that was provided to us with no instruction to recover $35,000 in 3 months of revenue that was up to 2 years old.
