Delphi Art Partners Program Lead a 10 week art project with 25 Philadelphia public middle school students (6th grade) Facilitated 2 museum visits and a final exhibition of student work at the Museum The Project used techniques inspired by Artist, Fred Wilson and the archaeological examples of the Terracotta Warriors. Students viewed Wilson's work and the warriors. After making their own clay warriors, students took neighborhood walks to collect "artifacts" from their community. Each student then selected 1 object to submerge in a mixture of plaster and sand. They rediscovered their objects by digging them out again and then writing a story about the object.
