As a team we successfully increased the occupancy from 83% to 91% and maintained leased occupancy at 92% while increasing rents and reducing concessions for 344 units. Planed and assisted in resident retention with the CARES Team. Created marketing strategy to increase occupancy and change demographics. September 1st 2010 Post Investment purchased Arbor Pointe and BH Management was the new management company who hired me as Community Manager, then promoted me to Senior Community Manager where I worked directly with the Regional Manager to help maintain 6 communities (Arbor Pointe, Park View, Bluffs at Town Lake, Mountain Ranch, and Country Club Creek) Promoted to Regional Manager in July 2012. Oversaw all areas of leasing and management operations for 6 communities comprised of 1796 rental units in Austin and San Antonio Texas. Directed day-to-day operations with ongoing coordination with individual Managers, as well as monitored a collective staff of 51 employees. Extensive travel to onsite visits for personal inspections and individual units to maintain quality standards at move in conditions. Implemented company policies, procedures, plans and internal controls to efficiently guide operations. Negotiated vendor contracts, obtained and reviewed bids for capital improvements and regular maintenance. Show less
