Charis Wanken is an absolutely stellar Career Coach, and an even more incredible human being, that I would recommend without any reservations to anyone looking for guidance in their career/job search and/or any company looking to add to their team! While under Charis' guidance, I was able to feel supported in one of the most difficult and vulnerable times in my life... the job search. Charis not only brings her wealth of knowledge and experience, but also her empathy and encouragement, to ensure that her clients are operating at their best at all times. And on top of all these things, Charis welcomes and humbly receives feedback/constructive criticism because she ultimately desires what's best for her clients, which is truly a rare trait that I admire. I cannot say enough good things about my time with Charis, and am confident that anyone who enlists her services will come out successful regardless of the job market.

I had the great pleasure of being partnered with Charis, as I began my job search after attending Flatiron School. As my Career Coach, Charis brought a great deal of positivity to our sessions, which was hugely valuable to me as I navigated a stressful journey in a difficult climate. The skills we worked on and the confidence I ultimately developed over our sessions allowed me to pursue my goals with more focus and determination, which led me to my new dream role! Charis is exceptionally suited to helping her clients take on the daunting challenge of a career transition and I thoroughly recommend her for anyone looking for practical, friendly support.

I collaborate with Software Engineering job seekers on all non-technical aspects of the job search following their bootcamp education. This includes resume writing, personal and website branding, job search strategy, interviewing, outreach & networking, negotiation, and more. The technical job search is unique and complex, so I work to provide accountability, coach, and motivate individuals to creatively approach the job market and confidently transition into new tech careers.
