Charice Curtis worked as the Director of the Horizons Rehabilitation Center at the Heritage Center in 2011. During her time as Unit Director she directly choreographed the change of direction of that Unit. Initially the services were long term care, the unit's focus was then changed to Rehabilitation to home. Her professionalism made the transition seem effortless. She was also responsible for care conferences with patients and families, admissions, discharges, care plans, scheduling, employee evaluations and quality assurance initiatives. She performed all of these duties exceptionally.

RN, Administrator
-
Jan 2005 - Jun 2008
Began in January of 2005 as a Consultant for the company, after being contacted in January to open and run a new branch of OMNI in Evansville, IN that Spring or Summer. As a consultant, I traveled to many OMNI locations, particularly Ohio and Florida. I worked with and instructed the Administrators in these locations to improve profitability, clinical outcomes, employee morale, and with the Sales Team to increase the number of referrals and referral sources. On May 16, 2005, I opened the new OMNI office in Evansville, IN. For this process, I set up all vendors, completed and filed the federal 855A, completed the appropriate State paperwork, and recruited/hired employees. Until the branch had a census of 10 Medicare patients for its initial state/federal survey; I hired no Admin, Sales, or Support Staff per the business plan. During this time, I completed all clerical, personnel, and administrative duties; as well as supervision of all clinical and financial departments; without any additional employees other than 1 additional RN and a HHA to work in the field. I performed all Sales and Marketing to increase community awareness of our agency and increase referral sources, as well as recruitment of the Sales Team. As Administrator, I oversaw financial, clinical, and operational issues of the agency. I also continued to participate in Sales and Marketing, both with the members of my Sales Team and independently. Show less
