Shirley Pastore McCormack

Char has extensive knowledge from working with people who have Parkinson's Disease and mobility issues. She is attentive to the unique issues of each client, challenging them with positive verbal and physical cues so each person feels empowered and confident in their abilities. Char is also a consummate teacher trainer. As a colleagial leader, she respectfully guides her teachers to hone their language and therapeutic skills with her veteran staff so new teachers can develop their expertise based on a variety of viewpoints, styles and skills. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Char as both a therapeutic yoga instructor and teacher trainer.

Eileen Saffran

Char has taken her skills and interests to a new level. She has dedicated much time and energy to honing in on the specialization of yoga/relaxation with specific populations. Her recent training at Duke focusing on yoga and meditation with breast cancer survivors is exciting and cutting edge. Additionally, Char's personality resonates with anyone who might cross her path.
