Outreach Programmes: 2015 -2019 Simunye: Uplifting community members in our community. Involved with educating them about domestic violence, helping them plant vegetables to grow in their own gardens, expressing the importance of caring for themselves and encouraging their children to attend school and helping them with their homework. Blanket Drive: Got the Ballito community to knit squares which we made into 200 blankets and distributed them into our community. Umhlali Trauma Centre: For Mandela day, organised and managed to collect 500 packets of 2min noodles which were donated to the Trauma centre to assist in feeding families who come into the centre when an abusive incidents had occurred. NPO Vision 153: Supplying the NPO with blankets, tin food and Christmas gifts which they are able to distribute to the community during a time of need eg: floods, home burnt to the ground and death of parents. NPO Vuvufit-box: Helping the children, teenager and adults that attend this “gym” giving them food tins and Christmas hampers. The members are encouraged to exercise and do weightlifting instead of loitering on the streets and taking drugs. Some of the members do not have food for as long as 3 days at a time so, the tin food helps them a great deal.
