• Researcher for the Activating Change Together January 2012-February 2015 for Community Food Security” (ACT for CFS) Project• Conducted participatory research and analysis on community food security opportunities in Nova Scotia, resulting in a series of reports and conference presentations.• Developed a policy mapping tool and co-piloted a workshop for community food security stakeholders to build capacity around policy change. I led this workshop at the Nova Scotia Food Gathering in May 2013, and at the ACT for CFS Team Gathering in August 2013. The workshops have since been taken to communities across Nova Scotia by other project members.• Managed Policy Working Group activities (e.g. contacts, meetings, agendas, reports)
