Collaborated with researchers from Health Assessments in Sea Turtles from Baja California Sur (HASTBCS) and ecotourism guides from La Paz, México in order to create a framework from which a baseline study of Eastern Pacific green sea turtles could be undertaken.Conducted a human research survey after successfully submitting research protocol to IRB. Continue to collaborate with HASTBCS researchers so that Mexican governmental agencies may learn more about the population status of these endangered species through Local Ecological Knowledge (LEK).
