Supervised students while working within the Department Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to investigate the role of neurotransmitter dopamine in GI tract and prostate cancers. Developed and optimized protocols for confocal microscopic studies of cells and tissues , orthotopic transplantation of prostate and colon cancer cells in mice and creation of models of hind limb ischemia and wound used to test the efficacy of drugs. Wrote SOPs for the chemicals in use in the lab, IACUC protocols.
