During my time as office manager, I was able to evaluate existing processes in place related to customer service, documentation/reporting, and internal staff communications and provide recommendations to the executive team areas that could be improved through procedural development and implementation. One main area of quantifiable process improvement was in the documentation/reporting of field services provided to client accounts with the implementation of a cloud based field service CRM software. As an incoming Freshman, I was accepted into the organization and continued to stay active each year. I was elected as Co-Chair of the organization during my third year. As a member of the Presidents Leadership Council, I had the opportunity to take the position for this program we held on campus. Working with College Crusades Rhode Island, Our organization was able to bring inner city youth middle school students on campus to experience college life for a day. Through this program, we developed a day filled with activities with everything from a career fair; which explained the different majors at the university all the way to campus tours. This program was truly inspirational because our members were able to connect with these kids on a level that adults and teachers were unable to. By exposing the idea of college to these students, we were showing them an idea for their future. During my involvement with this program, we hosted over 300 students and had more than 5 total visits from multiple schools. Show less
