  I have worked here for 4 years now, 1 year being in the field/yard portion of the construction and the other 3 years being in the office. For the first 2 years in the office I was helping out the accounting department with whatever they needed. For the last year to now the beginning of 2021, I have been working as an assistant estimator helping out with anything the estimators need that will able them to get a precise estimate number. This mainly consists of calculating the footages through a program using construction plans on the computer. Also I help input daily quantity numbers for each job into a program which then the estimator can look at the final results for the job. Throughout all of 2021 I have started working and helping out as a project manager, which has give me a better look into the budgeting portion of our business and how exactly we make our money.
